Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account data: Email address and name (optional) when you create an account
• Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information on our servers
• API usage logs: Endpoints called, request timestamps, response status codes, and IP addresses for billing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention
• Website analytics: Standard web server logs including pages visited and browser type

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service, including API access and your dashboard
• Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• Send transactional emails related to your account (password resets, billing receipts)
• Monitor for abuse, enforce rate limits, and prevent unauthorized access
• Improve the API and fix bugs based on aggregated usage patterns

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use Stripe to process payments. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information is sent directly to Stripe and handled according to their Privacy Policy. We receive only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card details.

Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion request
• API usage logs: Retained for 90 days, then automatically purged
• Payment records: Retained as required by tax and accounting regulations

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. API keys are stored as hashed values — the original key is shown only once at creation and cannot be retrieved afterward. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Export your account and usage data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on your account. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
